One City. Three Futures.
CityBuilder is a game about running a city — three times at once. Every game starts the same city in three parallel universes: one capitalist, one socialist, and one mixed economy. Same streets, same people, same starting conditions. The only difference is the policies you choose.
Build housing, roads, and industry. Set taxes and budgets. Decide who provides what — private business, the city, or a mix of both. Then watch each universe respond, compare the timelines side by side, and branch off any save to try a different answer.
It is a game, but it is also an economics lesson you learn by doing: run your city as a capitalist, as a socialist, or as everything in between — and see with your own eyes what each system does to the very same city. The game is not rigged: all three universes follow the same rules. Only your choices differ.
Cities include New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and the fictional Harborview, all built on real street maps. It runs right in your browser — nothing to download, no sign-up.
